Australian by birth (nipaluna/Hobart, 1974), and long time resident of Ōtautahi/Christchurch and Ōtepoti/Dunedin, Aotearoa New Zealand, Sally Ann McIntyre currently lives in Naarm/Melbourne. Her poetic work has appeared in literary journals including Aught, Landfall, Otoliths, Moria, Meanjin, Masthead, Cordite, Going Down Swinging, Poetry New Zealand, Trout, Sport, and others, since 1997. In 2008 she was recipient of a Creative New Zealand New Work grant for Literature.
